The northwest coast of Cyprus is a paradise where you want to come back again and again. Take a foray into the art of winemaking and taste the special local flavour while travelling through the coastal villages with their coffee places and fish taverns.
The land of the Akamas peninsula, Lachi and Polis has a unique microclimate. There is a lot of greenery, the weather is not that hot in the summer months and warm in winter. The resort is attractive for those who prefer beach vacation and water sports such as windsurfing, diving, and yachting. The winter weather is perfect for sightseeing trips around Cyprus, jeep and buggy trips. Other popular “winter” activities include skiing in Troodos, golf, equestrian sports, and SPA relax.
The Akamas Peninsula is one of the few surviving spots of wild nature in Cyprus. Legend has it that it used to be that very place where the goddess of love Aphrodite and the young mortal Adonis fell madly in love with each other. The hiking trails of Adonis and Aphrodite will take you through the picturesque forest to the famous Aphrodite Bath, which is a natural grotto with clear cold water where, according to legend, the goddess used to take baths. Along the road, you can admire the Blue Lagoon and finish the route at Lara Beach.
